Tours of Our Maternity Unit
Choosing where to have your baby is often a big decision, so it’s important to have the opportunity to see our facilities, get to know our staff and feel comfortable that Norwest Private is the right hospital for you.
Our comprehensive maternity tour is guided by one of our experienced midwives and will include viewing the Birth Suites and the Maternity Suites where you will stay after you give birth. Throughout the tour, you will have an opportunity to ask questions. If you want to talk privately after the tour, this can also be arranged.
Tours are free and held regularly. To make a booking please email your name and mobile number to Maternity.Enquiries@healthscope.com.au

Parent Education
At Norwest Private Maternity, we strive to give mums and partners as much confidence as possible before they leave us.
One of the ways we do this is through our parent education program, offered in our postnatal unit Tuesday to Fridays, where we talk about all the things that you need to know to care for your baby. For more information chat to one of our friendly midwives.

Our Women’s Physiotherapists offer classes to help mums recover and get back into an exercise routine. Physiotherapists will also be available to consult one-on-one if you prefer.
Breastfeeding your baby
Our lactation consultant is available if you need some extra assistance with breastfeeding.
Preparing to take baby home
Our midwives will provide advice on settling, wrapping and bathing so you are ready to care for your baby at home.
